FRS are recruiting a Practice Manager for a local Legal Firm based in Coventry. Reporting into the Partners / Directors, you will be an experienced Practice Manager who can hit the ground running & assist the business leader in ensuring the firm runs efficiently!

The business offer one day per week working from home!

Suitable candidates will be able to start this role in December / January / February to take over from the current Practice Manager who leaves at the start of 2025.

A full job spec can be shared upon suitable application - 1st stage interviews are taking place during November.

Duties Will Include

  • Supervision of Accounts Personnel
  • Monitor dormant ledgers
  • Maintenance of Bankline system
  • Authorise CHAPS & BACS payments.
  • Opening post and distribute to Accounts dept
  • Approve invoices for payment
  • Provide analysis of accounting information for Directors
  • Renewal of Buildings, Office, Employer’s Liability and Public Liability Insurances
  • Recruitment of staff - organising contracts, communicating with agencies etc
  • Carry out inductions for new staff, termination of employment and exit interviews
  • Approve holiday forms for Accounts and reception
  • Carry out appraisals for accounts staff & reception & post room staff
  • Produce summary of appraisals report for Management team
  • Annual review of Health & Safety procedure
  • Update and test business continuity plan
  • Assist with professional Indemnity Insurance renewal
  • Cyber, management liability and health insurance renewals
