A respected and growing financial planning firm is seeking a highly capable Financial Planning Administrator to join their collaborative and client-focused team. The company have recently been acquired by a National Investment Management organisation who will provide extra security and funding for their exciting growth plans.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in financial services administration to contribute to a dynamic, supportive environment with excellent long-term prospects.
The RoleAs a Financial Planning Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting financial advisers and paraplanners, ensuring the smooth and compliant delivery of service to clients from start to finish. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, liaising with providers, handling client queries, and producing essential documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Liaising with product providers to obtain information and process new business

Preparing client valuations, ISA withdrawal recommendations, and annual review packs

Managing service cases, fund switches, client withdrawals, and Bed & ISA transfers

Updating and maintaining the back office system (Intelligent Office)

Producing suitability reports and ensuring accurate documentation via Papercloud/SharePoint
-
Assisting with annual portfolio rebalancing and adviser charge disinvestments

Ensuring compliance with FCA and internal procedures

Responding to client queries professionally via telephone and email

Using platforms such as Transact, abrdn, Aviva, Quilter

Supporting the wider team and mentoring junior administrators as needed
About YouYou’ll be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You should have:

At least 1 years’ experience in an IFA environment

Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and financial products
-
Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills (Microsoft Office)

Familiarity with Intelligent Office, Wrap platforms, Dynamic Planner, and FE Analytics (desirable)

A team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive approach

Progress toward the Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable)
