FLT Warehouse Operative – Nights  

Location: Coventry

Salary: £24,800 + BONUS

Shifts: Monday to Thursday (1 in 2 Sundays)

If so, I want to hear from you.  Our client, a leading stockholder, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately handle incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper recording and labelling.
  • Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) Counterbalance to move, stack, and arrange products within the warehouse.
  • Organise and maintain the warehouse to optimize storage space and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Picking and packing orders for dispatch, adhering to quality standards and delivery deadlines.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and targets.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Valid FLT (Gas) Counterbalance Licence and experience is essential.  Candidates without this license will not be considered for the role.  Minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts (days, afternoons, or nights) as required.
