Our client based in Coventry is an established Accountancy Practice who have been serving clients in the West Midlands for over 20 years. They have firmly established themselves in the local market, having built strong relationships with both small and large businesses, they have recently expanded to a bigger, more modern premises and are now searching for a practice-experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to prepare accounts, complete company and personal tax returns, and general accounting duties.

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be working closely with other members of the team to provide accounting and taxation services to a variety of clients.
  • You will be preparing accounts for unincorporated/incorporated businesses.
  • You will prepare company tax returns and personal self- assessment tax returns.
  • You will be involved in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Forming client relationships across a range of businesses and sectors.
  • You will be instrumental in mentoring and supporting accounts apprentices and junior team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • AAT qualified.
  • Basic knowledge of main accounting systems e.g., Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Confident and articulate communicator.
  • Comfortable with managing a varied workload.
  • Demonstrate a hands on, and proactive work approach.
  • Work well in a team.
