Role Purpose

As a DA operative you will support production on day-to-day tasks by carrying out manual DA/Weld Dress ensuring that production deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Good timekeeping skills
  • Experience working in manufacturing (desired but not essential)
  • Previous use of Handheld tools such as a Dual Sander.
  • Experience of weld dress desirable.
  • Basic English and numeracy skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Able to work as part of a team

Main Duties

  • Operate Production equipment and handheld tools.
  • Working across aspects of the production area.
  • Ensuring that production deadlines are meet efficiently, and safely.
  • Maintaining the machinery necessary to perform a specialised task.
  • Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines.
  • Ensuring that the production area is kept clean, tidy and free from hazards.
  • Reporting any issues that could affect the quality or timeliness of production to your team. leader or supervisor.
  • Ensure that the quality of your work is to the required standard.
  • Any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager.

Working hours:6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday

6:00am - 11:00am Friday
