Inpost/Menzies Distribution is looking for two passionate Debrief Clerks to join our Coventry depot and play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Location: Inpost/Menzies Distribution, Imperial Park, Siskin Parkkway West, Coventry CV3 4PB
Shift Pattern: Sunday - Wednesday
Hours: 09:00am - 20:00pm or 10:00am - 21:00pm
Salary: £25,875.00 per annum

What’s the Role?
As a Debrief Clerk, you’ll be at the heart of the action, making sure our drivers stay on track and everything runs like clockwork. You’ll be involved in a wide range of exciting responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting drivers by helping them with delivery routes and instructions, ensuring everything is set for smooth and timely deliveries.
  • Debriefing drivers on performance, setting ambitious targets for improvement, and keeping standards high.
  • Managing paperwork and ensuring it’s completed with precision and efficiency.
  • Driving Health & Safety excellence by ensuring a secure and safe working environment at all times.
  • Providing real-time updates by liaising with drivers during their shifts to track delivery progress, and feeding back any important updates to the relevant departments.
  • Being the go-to person for drivers, briefing and debriefing them, and being the first point of contact for all queries. You’ll ensure all feedback is shared and help meet our key performance targets.
  • With experience in busy transport admin, you'll thrive under pressure, be PC literate (with solid skills in Word and Excel), and have an eagle eye for detail to keep operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations.
  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment is ideal.
  • The ability to think on your feet and problem-solve quickly to keep things moving smoothly.
  • Experience with in-house transport management systems (great, but not essential!).
