Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for coordinating shipments on a global scale? Our client, a market leader, are seeking a motivated Despatch Co-ordinator to join their team.

Job Role: Despatch Co-ordinator

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday rotating shift of 08:00 - 16:00 and 10:00 - 18:00

Location: Coventry

Salary: 24500

Start Date: ASAP

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assessing and prioritising daily shipments for the shop floor team.
  • Producing electronic manifests and shipper labels to track consignments.
  • Using the database to ship off orders and generate invoices.
  • Obtaining quotations for express shipments and making cost-effective decisions.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external transport companies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicating with third-party logistics teams to optimise stock materials.
  • Analysing payloads and maximising vehicle usage for cost efficiency.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes to customs, laws, or traditions that may impact shipping.
  • Providing outstanding reports and reporting failures to the Team Leader.
  • Meeting health and safety requirements as specified in the policy.
