About Us:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Electrical Installation Lecturer to inspire, guide, and develop the next generation of electricians and industry professionals.

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching, assessment, and support to learners enrolled in electrical installation courses. You will have the opportunity to shape the curriculum, support student progression, and collaborate with industry partners to ensure our programs meet current standards and demands. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is enthusiastic about sharing their expertise and helping students achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in electrical installation for a range of levels, from Level 1 to Level 3.
  • Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments that align with industry standards.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in curriculum development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners to ensure courses reflect current practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical Installation or a related field (a teaching qualification, such as PGCE or Cert Ed, is highly desirable, but support may be provided to obtain this if needed).
  • Significant, demonstrable industry experience in electrical installation.
  • Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to student development.
