The Structural Steel Division at ARM are currently recruiting an Estimator to be based out of the Midlands.

Job Overview:

The role involves preparing and negotiating tenders, building relationships with key clients, and managing commercial aspects of the tender process. Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience in estimating, strong communication skills, and a background in structural steelwork.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders before internally and externally for example quantity surveyors, commercial teams, and clients.
  • Preparing accurate take-offs from detailed structural drawings.
  • Work with the drawing office and project team to understand and interpret site requirements to ensure accurate contract delivery.
  • Negotiating prices with the supply chain.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working within Structural steel (Primary or Secondary).
  • Strong IT and Computer Skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Full Driving License.
