Pay: £14.93 per hourShift Hours: Days (06:00-14:00) and Afternoons (14:00-22:00)Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Join my client as a Fitter and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the daily operation of all fixed plant and machinery. This position offers an excellent opportunity to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, contributing to the smooth running of production at the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Rapid Response: Respond promptly to plant breakdowns, providing immediate support to minimize downtime.
- Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on plant machinery, tooling, and site facilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance, and communicate these to Site Management.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to Supervisors for optimal plant operation.
- Production Support: Help maintain maximum plant availability and production levels to meet site targets.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and relevant legislation.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required to support site operations, aligned with company standards in Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community.

Qualifications
- Experience in a medium to heavy industry setting
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- FLT (Forklift Truck) license is advantageous
- Welding/fabricating experience and qualifications are a plus
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent certification is required
- Electrical qualifications are beneficial but not essential
