Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of pool plant and water treatment equipment.
- Perform regular inspections and testing of pool equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical and electrical pool systems, including pumps, filters, heating systems, and chemical dosing equipment.
- Maintain pool water quality by monitoring and adjusting chemical levels as per safety and environmental standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and local authority guidelines.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new pool plant equipment when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and effective problem-solving.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pool Plant Engineer or in a similar technical role within the pool industry.
- Strong knowledge of pool plant systems, including filtration, heating, and water treatment.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems related to swimming pool operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety standards in relation to pool plant operations.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Pool Plant Operator Certificate or equivalent) is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
