The Role of the Principal Engineer
The PrincipalEngineerwill provide technicalengineering support to deliver process plant and equipment projects and develop and maintaindesignengineering processes, procedures, and products. Duties include supporting the production of CAD detail drawings for project execution, sales and marketing etc., generating Bills of Materials, and managingengineering sub-contractors & consultancy resources to achieve project goals.

The Ideal Principal Engineer will have:
A knowledge of steel/plastic fabrication, AutoCAD 2D / AutoCAD Inventor 3D / Solid Works (or similar)designpackages, you will have experience in the manufacture & supply of capital, and generalengineering plant process, mechanical,conveyorindustry equipment, etc.
Flexible, committed, and conscientious, the PrincipalEngineerwill be able to manage and mentor team members and work to deadlines to supply and deliverengineering equipment to EU/ international/CE marked standards and to customer specifications/expectations.
Requirements of the Principal Engineer
- Extensive experience in process engineering, special-purpose machinery, or similar manufacturing environment.
- AutoCAD 2D and £D design experience or similar.
- Project Management experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Keenness to learn and develop.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications.
