Quality / CMM Engineer required. Our client is a manufacturer of specialist cast parts for the automotive industry. Due to the ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality / CMM Engineerto join their team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the scanning of parts using equipment handheld 3D Scanning Ball equipment.
Quality / CMM Engineer Position Overview
- Utilising 3D wireless handheld scanning equipment for inspection purposes
- Engaging in quality related issues to ensure corrective actions
- Complying to ISO16949 & 9001 standards
- An understanding of measuring software is desirable
- Formulating 8D documents on issues
Quality / CMM Engineer Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quality Technician role or similar
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Based in a commutable distance of Coventry
- Experience working with Faro Arm, 3D Scanning or CMM equipment
- Qualifications within manufacturing / engineering is desirable but not essential
Quality / CMM Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary 30,000 - 37,000
- Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00. Friday 07:00 - 11:00
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
