Secondary Cover Supervisor - Coventry - CV4

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate cover supervisors to provide support to a partnered school within Coventry. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in a number of specialisms. A cover supervisor acts as a key contrubtor to learning within a school envirvonment. This role will see you support learners across different subjects and allow you to shape your career path within education.



The Role:

  • Position: General Cover Supervisor
  • Location: CV4, Coventry
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Hours: Full-time, term-time only


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned educational content to students

  • Collaborate with the SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Use strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively.

  • Adapt lessons to support pupils with a variety of diverse needs.



Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead large groups, confidence around public speaking.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.

  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
