Press Operator - 12-Month Contract
Location: Ansty Park, Coventry
Shifts: 6am - 2pm / 6am - 12:45pm (Friday)
Pay: 15.47/hr (training) | 16.26/hr (full rate)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will operate a manual hydraulic press and carry out additional tasks such as cropping, bending, and deburring thin-walled aluminium tubes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a good understanding of press safety, and the ability to meet daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily safety checks on machinery.
Conduct sequential quality checks to maintain high standards.
Achieve and maintain daily production output targets.
Work collaboratively within a team environment.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous press operation experience is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Safe Systems of Work and best practices.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet targets.
Good communication skills - reporting issues promptly.
Basic computer literacy (SAP experience is a plus).
