What You'll Be Doing:
  • Working as part of an Integrated Development Team, focused on developing and delivering next-generation submarine systems
  • Leading Product Safety activities across multiple systems throughout the engineering lifecycle
  • Supporting hazard identification and analysis studies to mitigate risks
  • Assisting with or generating detailed safety reports
  • Ensuring adherence to the project Safety Management System
  • Collaborating with other development teams and the Safety Team to maintain the highest safety standards
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree (2:2 or above) in Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Understanding of Safety and Systems Engineering and Engineering Lifecycle Management
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team, while also being capable of working independently
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and customer expectations
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Practical experience in Product Safety Engineering within the maritime defence sector is preferred, but experience in other industries will also be considered
