LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Coventry who are looking to appoint a Criminology + Law Teacher to start ASAP. The role will be teaching within the schools Sixth form provision.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS4 and KS5
  • Differentiating lesson content to meet a wide range of students needs and abilities
  • Delivering examination content in line with the school examination board
  • Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
  • Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with special educational needs
  • Attending weekly department meetings to help drive forward the school's attainment levels

Candidate Requirements:

  • Holds qualified teacher status (NQTs Welcome)
  • Is confident teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum
  • Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
  • Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make continued progress
  • Is a good team player and willing to work cohesively with the departmental and pastoral team
