We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Sociology to join our thriving department from November 2024. Our students are bright, engaged with their learning and want to make the most of the opportunities available. We welcome applications from subject specialists able to teach Sociology to KS5.


Rugby High School is a girls’ grammar school that is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The department has achieved excellent A-level results in recent years, with 100% of the 2023 The department has achieved excellent A-level results in recent years, with 45% of the 2024 cohort being awarded A*-A.  A high proportion of our A-level Sociology students go on to take Sociology, or a related subject, at university.  Over 50% of our students gain places at Russell Group Universities
