THIS ROLE IS ONSITE 5 DAYS PER WEEK AT THEIR OFFICE IN MERIDEN

We are recruiting an experienced IT Project Manager to join an industry-leading recruitment company based in Meriden. This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring presence in the office 5 days a week.

In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project initiation, planning, and execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate resources, track project milestones, manage budgets, and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of projects from initiation to completion.
  • Project Initiation Document: Prepare and present documentation for stakeholder review and approval.
  • Business Case Development: Support in defining and developing the project business case.
  • Resource and Budget Management: Provide resource estimates, maintain forecasts, and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial reporting and tracking.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans and ensure tasks align with project requirements.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report project metrics, status updates, and financial performance to leadership.
  • Issue Resolution: Facilitate and resolve issues beyond the project team’s control and manage dependencies.
  • Change Management: Submit and represent change requests at the Change Approval Board.
  • Risk Management: Document and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions proactively.
  • Stakeholder and Supplier Management: Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct project reviews to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Project Close-Down: Execute close-down activities to ensure proper project wrap-up.

Required Experience:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years managing medium to large, high-profile IT projects with significant budgets. Proven experience in establishing structures to effectively control and monitor project deliverables.
  • Certifications: Project management certification (PMP or Prince2) is preferred.

This position is Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30, and offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
