Project Manager - Digital Implementation£60,000 + benefitsRemote with travelOverview:Our client is a multi-national service business supporting the large grocery retail industry with end to end supply chain solutions. As part of the ongoing development of their service offering, they are undergoing a broad-ranging digital implementation programme. To facilitate the delivery of this programme, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager preferably with experience of delivering tech led projects within the grocery retail, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful delivery of the digital implementation programme.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Digital Teams, IT, Operations, Service Centres and senior management. and Business Units, to integrate digital tools, processes, and platforms that will revolutionise our global supply chain operations.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
  • Drive change management and adoption strategies to ensure successful integration of new digital solutions.
  • Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvements to maximise the efficiency of the programme.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and risks, adjusting plans as needed to meet the changing needs of the business.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience of successfully leading large-scale digital implementation or transformation projects, ideally in the grocery retail, supply chain or logistics industries.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, technologies, and digital solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple countries and business functions.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar).
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership and technical teams.
  • Experience in managing suppliers, contractors, and third-party relationships.
  • APM, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
