IT Engineer

Role Profile

We are seeking a skilled and proactive 2nd Line IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to clients and ensuring swift and effective resolutions to IT challenges.

This position will involve both remote troubleshooting and occasional travel to client sites, so a commitment to customer service and flexibility with travel is essential.

  • Technical Support:
    • Provide 2nd line support for a wide range of IT issues, troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues efficiently.
    • Work collaboratively with the 1st line team to ensure smooth handovers and assist with complex technical queries.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, solutions, and client interactions in the support ticketing system.
  • Onsite Assistance:
    • Travel to client sites as needed to provide hands-on support for hardware and software installations, configurations, and other technical tasks.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service during onsite visits, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
  • System Maintenance & Improvement:
    • Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and patch management for client systems to enhance performance and security.
    • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new hardware, software, and networks.
    • Participate in planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
