Fabricator

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist fabrication company based inCoventry. Due to company growth, they are now looking for a Fabricator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This position is primarily a fabrication-based position; there is not much welding involved. We are looking for someone with a good fabrication background.

Working Hours:Monday to Thursday (07:30am until 16:30pm) and Friday (07:30am until 12:30pm)

Pay:14-15per hour, dependent on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Fabrication of box sections, components, and sheet metal products for a range of industries.
• Folding fabrications using press brake machinery.
• Cutting using a punch press machine and guillotine.
• Reading and understanding technical engineering drawings.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within fabrication is required.
• Previous experience working on press brake machinery, guillotines, punch presses, and using hand tools is required.
• Able to read and understand a range of technical engineering drawings.
