What You Will Do:

- Serve as the subject matter expert for Laser processing activities, influencing new process concepts from both engineering and shop floor perspectives.

- Develop and implement process improvements, equipment layouts reflecting lean principles, and support milestone activities alongside the Engineering Manager.

- Lead the introduction of new equipment and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities, ensuring all key deliverables such as cycle time and safety approvals are met.

- Collaborate with Quality teams to maintain high standards for manufacturing processes, implementing quality control measures to prevent defects.

- Provide technical support to production teams, resolving manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Monitor and drive initiatives to achieve key performance indicators related to manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.

What You Will Bring:

- An apprenticeship in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering being a plus.

- Familiarity with laser cutting/welding and a desire to continually improve and learn new skills.

- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality management systems.

- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
