Mechanical Fitter Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, with a focus on hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Assemble and test components to meet engineering specifications.
Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver projects on time and to high-quality standards.
Adhere to health and safety standards while working on-site and in workshops.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally within a manufacturing, automotive, or engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and understand technical schematics and engineering drawings.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification (preferred).
