Join the Claims team at a leading Uk insurance company based in Coventry, and become a part of an organisation dedicated to settling valid claims for policyholders and clients worldwide. As a Claims Engineer, you will focus on Mechanical, Electrical, High Voltage claims, and GAP Insurance programmes.

?? Responsibilities:

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • ?? A strong technical knowledge of all types of motor vehicles, including E.V vehicles.
  • Previous experience in the Automotive Industry, preferably with a Premium Brand (not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive learner with a passion for personal development.
  • IT literate, proficient in email and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player to achieve shared goals.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Fluency in either French or German (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in English and Mathematics at a minimum of GCSE level.
  • NVQ3 qualification in Automotive Light Mechanical Repair Technology with more than 5 years of experience.
  • High Voltage Knowledge and Capability in both Repair and Systems.
  • Core understanding of Warranty Policy and Procedures from any OEM Manufacturer.

As a Claims Engineer, you will work within the Claims team at our client organisation, contributing to the successful settlement of valid claims in line with policy wording, insurer procedures, and company standards. With a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, High Voltage claims, and GAP Insurance programmes, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our policyholders and clients.

  • Liaise with insurers following agreed procedures.
