Administrator – Goods In
Location: Coventry
Salary: £29,000 + Christmas Bonus
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 06:00 – 18:00
Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in logistics administration? Join our team as a Goods In Administrator, where you will play a key role in ensuring smooth inbound deliveries and warehouse operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesGoods In Management:
- Answer and assist supplier calls, scheduling and logging appointments in the WMS system.
- Liaise with site security to ensure smooth inbound delivery operations.
- Communicate with suppliers and hauliers on delivery status, delays, and discrepancies.
- Report product issues such as damages, date concerns, or rejections to QA.
Warehouse Management System (WMS) Administration:
- Run and monitor waves in JDE and WMS, ensuring stock is allocated correctly.
- Investigate out-of-stock items and liaise with the team to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all invoices are released and loading/closing of loads is completed.
Reporting & Communication:
- Generate key reports for stock and warehouse management.
- Provide KPI reporting and updates to the relevant teams.
- Conduct effective shift handovers and attend department briefings.
General Duties:
- Provide cover for stock admin duties as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, security, and environmental KPIs.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or stock administration.
