We are recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator for our client who are based in Coventry. This is a full time role.
As a Warehouse Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, incoming shipments, and outgoing orders.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to track inventory movements and reconcile any discrepancies.
Data Entry and Documentation:
- Input data related to shipments, receipts, and inventory into our warehouse management system.
- Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and other necessary documentation.
Communication:
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from colleagues and customers regarding inventory status and order fulfilment.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process optimization and propose solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Assist in implementing best practices for inventory control and record-keeping.
Ideally you will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse administration role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence
