Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 16.30PM/ Friday: 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Pay rate: £12.50ph 
Location: Coventry 


As a Powder Coating Operative, you will be a vital part of the Paint Line Team, delivering precise and professional powder coating services. Your role involves all aspects of the paint operation, including loading and unloading, powder application, equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and occasional computer work. You'll also have the opportunity to train other team members on the paint line process.


Key Responsibilities:


• Handle parts manually for the paint line and perform any task within the paint line process.
• Operate the paint line effectively to meet production targets.
• Manage timely and cost-effective paint changeovers.
• Load and unload the overhead conveyor, maximizing product coating efficiency.
• Apply powder paint with precision (60-100 microns in visible areas).
• Clean hooks, jigs, and flight bars to ensure quality powder adhesion.
• Maintain and clean powder coating equipment according to schedules and procedures.
• Cross-train in other production areas and assist during paint line downtime.


Requirements:


• Previous powder coating experience with over 12 months experience 
• Experience changing over jobs to different color schemes 
• Strong attention to detail.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Team player with factory experience.
