Morson is recruiting for a Land Surveyor to join a leading utility provider, playing a critical role in the delivery of capital investment projects as part of the AMP8 cycle—the largest investment program in the company's history. The Role
As a Land Surveyor, you will be pivotal in delivering land access and acquisition strategies for critical infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
• Managing land acquisitions and rights, ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
• Supporting the delivery of capital investment programs and protecting land interests.
• Collaborating with supply chain partners to address land-related risks and opportunities effectively.
• Providing expert technical advice for feasibility studies and capital project strategies.
• Negotiating with stakeholders to secure essential land access rights.
• Advising on and utilizing statutory powers while understanding implications for private landowners.

Skills & Experience Required
• Professional qualification: RICS/AssocRICS with demonstrated post-qualification experience.
• Expertise in land access rights, acquisitions, and compensation management.
• Preferably, experience working within or alongside utility providers on land-focused projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks across projects.
