Residential Conveyancing SolicitorLocation: Coventry (Hybrid Working)Job Type: Full-time, PermanentAn exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-established and leading law firm based in Coventry. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with the option to work 3 days from home and 2 days in the office.In this role, you will manage a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, transfer of equity (TOE), shared ownership, new builds, and both freehold and leasehold transactions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, TOE, shared ownership, new builds, and freehold and leasehold matters.
  • Overseeing and supporting a small team, ensuring smooth department operations.
  • Working closely with the Head of Department to develop business and foster growth within the Property Department.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring excellent client care throughout all stages of the conveyancing process.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, with a strong knowledge of all areas of residential property law.
  • Proven experience in managing a team and assisting in business development.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and legal software.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • A polite, professional, and patient manner when dealing with clients and colleagues.
