Senior Litigation LawyerÂ
Location: Coventry / Hybrid
Salary: up to £75,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
We are working in partnership with an award-winning, Lexcel accredited, Legal 500-recognised Coventry law firm, who are looking for a Senior Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their busy team. Compliance experience preferred but not essential (e.g. COLP, GDPR, MLRO)
The Litigation team deal with a wide range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters for both businesses and individuals,Â
The role will involve:
- Running a wide-ranging caseload of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters which may include
- contractual and commercial disputes
- consumer contracts
- intellectual property
- business ownership disputes
- construction disputes
- business regulation
- high court and country court litigation
- professional negligence
- landlord and tenant disputes
- debt recovery, insolvency and business recovery
- Liaising with clients, advising them on litigation matters and keeping them fully updated
- Dealing with compliance matters across the business (if applicable, in line with experience)
Suitable candidates will have:
- Fully qualified status (solicitor or FCILEx) with around 2 to 5 years' PQE
- Experience of running a wide-ranging litigation caseload encompassing both civil and commercial matters
- Sound understanding/knowledge of litigation law
- Excellent communication skills
- Compliance experience preferred but not essential (COLP, GDPR, MLRO)
This is a full time permanent job, working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working will be accommodated.Â
