Thefutureworks are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to work for our client based in Coventry.The ideal candidate will be MRP/ERP system literate ensuring continual improvement of the order fulfilment process, with the ability to create the demand profile for internal and externally sourced items to support the On time in Full (OTIF) Delivery objectives in a timely manner.Experience:* Previous experience within a machining or manufacturing environment.* Previous Planning experience desirable. * Experience of Lean manufacturing principles. * Knowledge of problem solving tools.* Experience of MRP/ERP systemsJob Purpose:* Ensure Data integrity is maintained throughout the Planning System (Planning Parameters).* Executing the MRP/ ERP system recommendations for Production plans and Procurement. * Supporting the Cell Leaders with short and medium-term Capacity planning. Maintain the Planning information pertinent to each work centre/ shift pattern, exceptions etc.* Support the improvement of customer OTIF levels by raising internal job Order completion levels (schedule adherence).* Support the internal Engineering Change (ECN) Process in relation to both purchase and procured parts.* Support Business adherence to IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.Additional Information:* Salary up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience* Working Hours : Mon - Thurs 07:30 - 16:30 with 30 min lunchFriday - 07.30 - 12.30 midday* 33 days holiday including Bank HolidaysIf you have the relevant skills & experience, Please apply with your most recent CV today!
