My client, a distinguished Legal 500 firm with a strong presence across Warwickshire, is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join its Coventry office.

Renowned for its commitment to supporting local communities and delivering exceptional legal services, my client offers an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious and collaborative team dedicated to excellence in residential conveyancing.

The Role:

As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the conveyancing team
  • Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence and reports with a high level of accuracy
  • Manage diaries, schedule appointments and handle incoming and outgoing communications
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents and other third parties, ensuring a professional and client-focused service
  • Open and close files, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards
  • Assist with Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions and other post-completion formalities
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying and data entry, to ensure the smooth running of the department

You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prove experience as a legal secretary, ideally within a residential conveyancing department
  • A strong understanding of the conveyancing process and associated legal documentation
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and client-focused approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & case management systems, with the ability to adapt to new technology and processes
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
