My client, a highly regarded Legal 500 regional law firm with an excellent reputation across Warwickshire, is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its successful and growing property in Coventry. The Role
- Assisting fee earners with all stages of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders, estate agents and other third parties
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, transfer deeds and completion statements
- Conducting title checks and property searches and preparing reports
- Managing files, keeping them up to date and ensuring they are progressed in a timely manner
- Handling general administrative tasks such as filing, managing calendars and organising client meetings
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working within a conveyancing department is essential
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Proactive, diligent, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
