They specialise in obtaining NHS Pharmacy Contracts, through the presentation of legal arguments in accordance with legislation (Pharmacy and healthcare regulations). Once contracts are won, sites are opened, scaled, or sold in a 1-2 year timeline.

The work is challenging, for example planning out lines of argument prior to putting in writing and debating against partners at law firms. You’ll need to need to write cleverly and put a good spin on it.

You’ll be delivering contract applications and seeing them through to Secretary of State appeals’ and liaising with key stakeholders such as MP’s and Councillors.

It can be challenging work, and won’t always be 9-5.

While there is some flexibility in degree type, some are preferred: Law (if you are not looking to go down the Legal career route). Or Philosophy, or something STEM related.
