- Assist with all site activities including receiving, storage, shipping, and any logistics related troubleshooting.
- Accurate completion of all required paperwork or electronic records relating or dispatched items, stored items and deliveries received.
- Always maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
- Receive and process returned goods promptly to ensure inventory remains accurate.
- Assist training for temporary agency staff, ensuring any unsafe or quality issues are reported promptly.
- To participate in the monthly stock inventory counts, for any goods on site.
- Be proactive in proposing solutions to any problems seen or discovered.
- Any other duties reasonably required, including those not directly related to the Job Description.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor a team of dispatch staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, to streamline the supply chain.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that department personnel adhere to all company policies concerning ethics, legal compliance, safety, customer service and environmental protection standards.
- Able to work 40hours per week
