General Manager - Specialist Contract Logistics and Distribution
Location: Coventry/Leicester
Salary: 70,000 - 80,000pa (DOE)
Working Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

My client is a very established Logistics Specialist, with offices across the UK and the Globe. They are offering a fantastic package and opportunity for a new General Manager to join their team and help lead the Logistics and Distribution Operations for the Specialist Contract Division. The right candidate will be an experienced Logistics Manager at General or Regional Level, who has worked previously for a UK based Logistics or Distribution Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Profit and Loss responsibility for the branch.
- Responsible for building and maintaining a strong team to handle Distribution Operations for Specialist Delivery and Contracts.
- Managing and overseeing day-to-day delivery operations and activities across the Warehouse.
- Negotiating with clients and calculating and quotes and bookings.
- Meet with, build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Monitor KPIs and team performance.
Requirements:
- Strong and extensive experience in a Senior and Managerial Logistic/Supply Chain position.
- Extensive experience in Warehousing and Fulfilment.
- Excellent Commercial and Customer service skills.
- Previous experience working for a UK based Haulier, Warehouse/Distribution Centre or Supply Chain Specialist.
