A leading manufacturing company in Coventry is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a days-based role, offering a competitive salary and a stable working environment.

Role Overview:

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining site facilities, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out basic electrical maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.
Performing routine inspections and diagnosing electrical faults.
Using basic plumbing skills to support facility upkeep.
Applying general maintenance and DIY skills for site repairs and improvements.
Maintaining CCTV, fire alarm, and site security systems to ensure operational reliability.
Upkeeping lighting and emergency lighting systems.
Managing and maintaining the site drainage system.
Servicing and maintaining air conditioning and air handling units.
Conducting facility checks and inspections to identify maintenance needs.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and environmental requirements.
Carrying out PPMs on facility equipment and ensuring timely completion.
Assisting with building and facilities improvement projects.

Requirements:

Experience in a similar facilities maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance skills.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, security systems, and building services.
Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks effectively.
