The Role:
As a Maintenance Control Engineer, you will:
- Assist with the set-up and operation of planned preventative maintenance procedures.
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance as required.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns.
- Set up and execute emergency procedures for machine breakdowns.
- Minimise risks associated with maintenance issues.
- Ensure all software is backed up and stored correctly.
- Provide clear work instructions for key equipment.
- Adhere to company policies and Health and Safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to analyse downtime and improve equipment effectiveness.
The Candidate:
The ideal Maintenance Control Engineer will have:
- Formal qualifications in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
- Experience in emergency repair situations.
- Knowledge of fault finding/programming ABB robots and Siemens PLCs.
- Experience with Fanuc Robots.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft applications.
- A full, current UK driving licence.
