A well-known food manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for their modern production facility.
The position offers a salary of approximately £51,000 plus overtime, along with benefits such as a subsidized canteen and 23 shifts of leave plus your birthday off.
Candidates should have completed an apprenticeship and possess qualifications such as C&G's or NVQ Level 3, with a preference for ONC/HNC level.
The role involves working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, providing engineering support and ensuring maximum plant efficiency while adhering to good manufacturing practices.
Manufacturing or production experience is required, along with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and supporting production.

A well-known Coventry based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer for their modern production facility. You will be part of a team of shift engineers providing engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and auxiliary systems. Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:

4 on 4 off Shifts – Days and Nights (12 hour) 06.30 – 18:30 and 18.30 – 06.30 (blocks of 4)
Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements

Quals / Experience required of Maintenance Engineer:

Apprenticeship trained
Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
Multi skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills / experience
Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
Manufacturing / production experience required
