Maintenance Engineer

Lift Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing company, based in Coventry, and they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team. This is a permanent role from day 1 and is not agency work.

Day to day duties will include:

Ensure safety checks on all machinery are conducted and records are maintained

Respond to machine breakdowns to minimise plant downtime

Install and commission new and current equipment where required

Fault finding electrical/mechanical issues and rectify root causes that the machinery present and eliminate downtime.

Hours of work/Pay rate/Additional benefits:

You will be working 07.30 to 15.30 Monday to Friday with flexibility required.

You will be paid between 40,000 per annum.

You will also receive up to 28 days paid holiday, maternity pay, paternity pay and a contributory pension after a qualifying period

Skills/Experience:

A full UK drivers licence is essential

Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings is essential

Ability to fault find on mechanical and electrical machinery is essential
