Maintenance Engineer

Location: Coventry
Salary: Basic £37,260 per annum + £3.50 per hour shift allowance (continental)
Hours per week: 41 hours (continental shift pattern)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Coventry team. The role involves supporting the site by maintaining high operational standards, implementing planned preventative maintenance, and swiftly resolving equipment breakdowns to ensure maximum production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on equipment.
  • Identify and rectify faults to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure machinery complies with safety regulations.
  • Provide technical support for equipment installation, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used via the CMMS system.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance.
  • Experience with PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
