The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position offers a basic salary of £37,260 per annum plus a shift allowance of £3.50 per hour.
The role is based in a fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing business located in Worcester.
Candidates are required to have experience in metal works, machinery installation and commissioning, as well as heavy industrial machinery.
An NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical fields is essential, along with the ability to understand schematic drawings.
The position follows a 5 & 2 shift pattern, totaling 41 hours per week, and includes benefits such as 25 days of holiday and a £1,000 attendance allowance.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary:

Basic Salary - £37,260 per annum

Shift Allowance - £3.50 per hour

Orion is partnered with a very fast paced, heavy industrial manufacturing business located in Worcester which is recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:

Work proactively to maintain and repair equipment across multiple areas of the production line.
Maintain CNC machinery
Installation and commissioning of machinery
Continuous improvement projects

Promptly respond to breakdowns and planned maintenance work.
To carry out routine maintenance of all production and foundry machinery.
Fabrication
Fault finding
Work orders for breakdowns, PPMs etc..

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience:

Metal works experience
Machinery installation and commissioning experience
Continuous Improvement Project experience
Experience with heavy industrial machinery CNC machines etc..
Electrical or mechanical qualifications NVQ Level 3 is essential
PLCs fault finding
Heavy industry experience
Be able to understand Schematics drawings.
Reliable and flexible attitude to work.
Excellent communication skills.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

Salary: £37,260 £3.50ph shift allowance
25x days holiday BH
Attendance allowance £1000 per year

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shift: 5 & 2 shift pattern

Week 1: Monday - Tuesday on Wednesday - Thursday off Friday Saturday on.

Week 2: Monday Tuesday off. Wednesday Thursday on Friday, Saturday Sunday off.

Hours - 41 per week (12hr day shifts)
