Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Coventry
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Hours: 3 Shift Rotation / 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to have the ability to Fault find on Siemens PLC, to help reduced downtime and maximise machine capability.

Information for candidates applying to be successful:
• Time served apprentice or NVQ in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Ability to demonstrate understating and ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and Hydraulic technical drawings.
• Previous PLC fault finding experience - Siemens.
• Experience in fault finding on ABB Robots.
• Ideally you will have your 18th Edition in Electrical installation.

Your day-to-day duties will include the following:
• Minimise Downtime.
• Maximise Machine capability.
• Maintenance, repair & continuous improvement of production machinery, equipment & systems, including daily / weekly routine maintenance activities in combination with supporting continuous improvement activities.
• Participation in the identification and procurement of consumables & machine spares.
• Accompany, assist and monitor service engineers, contractors and vendors as required.
• Ensure efficient shift handovers to ensure machines and plant are safe & maintained at optimum operational condition.
• Reading and Understanding Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Technical Drawings.
