Genesis is looking for an experienced PPAP Engineer for an aluminum casting business based in CV4 Coventry
The client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality aluminium castings for various industries across the UK. They are dedicated to delivering excellence in product quality and customer satisfaction. As part of their commitment to continuous improvement, they are seeking a skilled PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Engineer to join the team and ensure the successful implementation of PPAP procedures for aluminium casting projects.
Duties:
- Proven experience in PPAP implementation and management within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on aluminium castings.
- Strong understanding of PPAP requirements, standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Proficiency in quality tools and techniques, such as dimensional inspection, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to documentation and data analysis.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, root causes, and effective solutions.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and automotive quality standards, such as IATF 16949, is desirable.
