My client is a leading manufacturer of CNC grinding machines and machine tools and are looking to expand their team with a Production Engineer, who can program CNC grinders using Siemens controls. If you have experience as a machine tool applications engineer or in a similar role, apply now!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Working to engineering drawings to machine components
- Machine programming and setup
- Overseeing on-site installations of products and providing customer support on technical issues
- Travelling to customer sites overseas regularly
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of CNC grinding process (Essential)
- Knowledge of Siemens controls or a similar NC programming software
- Experience in a customer facing role, providing technical support and project management
- Ability to read and understand components drawings
- Ability to work to precise tolerances
