Role Overview

  • Lead a team of over 25 engineers across various disciplines, managing day-to-day activities for both production programmes and R&D initiatives. Provide mentorship and model strong leadership skills.
  • Ensure the engineering team's priorities align with available resources and budgets. Develop strategies to drive financial and technical growth in line with organisational objectives.
  • Allocate engineering resources to specific projects, escalate challenges with proposed solutions to senior management, and make impactful decisions to drive team success.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, collaborating with production and operational teams to address quality, delivery, and task updates.
  • Coordinate team efforts to support production, champion technological advancements, and foster the professional development of engineers at all levels.


Essential Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the aerospace sector, including knowledge of quality standards.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
