A global leading manufacturer of complex precision components to the aerospace & Oil & Gas sectors has a new vacancy for a Production Planning/ Estimator. Customer focussed and an excellent communicator, you will work with the senior management team and take ownership of the Production Schedule & Estimator to fulfil customer demand and candidates are sought with experience working in a machining environment supplying the aerospace sector.

The Role - Production Planning / Estimator
Maintain the production plan and ensure the plan is in line with customer requirements.
To produce daily, weekly & monthly production schedules.
Work with customers to expedite high importance orders.
Releasing job ordered to the cells in line with ERP requirements, targets and batch size/quantity


Planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance.
Manage and maintain stock levels in order to facilitate the completion of orders.
Utilizing Resource group plan and raising job orders were appropriate
Liaising with purchasing on material shortages.
Review and update monthly production plans and analyse bottlenecks.
Ensure all purchased finished items are delivered to plan.

The Candidate - Production Planning/ Estimator
Previous experience in production and capacity planning / estimator
A good understanding of CNC machining processes.
Previously worked in the Oil & Gas sector.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with excellent organisational skills.
Excellent communication / planning skills.
