Vectis Recruitment is exclusively partnering with an innovative manufacturer to manage the recruitment of a Technical Operations Director. Joining at a time of company expansion and new product development, you will be responsible for the leadership of all technical functions, ensuring that engineering & manufacturing processes meet the company requirements and highest quality standards. Candidates are sought with experience working in a high technology engineering environment with a proven track record of strategic planning, managing operational processes and leading rapidly expanding multidiscipline teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all technical operations, including engineering, manufacturing, and R&D.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize production, increase efficiency, and maintain the highest quality standards.

Oversee the development and implementation of new technologies, tools, and systems that enhance manufacturing processes.

Manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leadership to align technical goals with business objectives.

Drive improvements and efficiencies across operations.

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and team collaboration.

Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.

Candidate requirements:

Proven experience in a senior technical operations or engineering leadership role within a high-technology manufacturing environment.

Strong expertise in manufacturing processes, systems optimization, and operations management.

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving change in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field would be advantageous.

A strong, concise communicator and able to build internal and external relationships with stakeholders and customers.
