Air Conditioning Contracts Engineer

My client is a UK wide manufacturer of HVAC equipment, they are well established and a very well known name in the industry. They pride themselves in providing a top quality service and product; this has meant their reputation is always very high among their peers. Air conditioning and air flow is their game and they win that game.

They are recruiting for an air conditioning contracts engineer, you will be:-

• Managing air conditioning installation sites from getting the project till handover
• Producing project programme of works
• Doing health and safety site audits
• Doing site inductions for new people
• Making sure the project is maximising its profitability
• Making sure the site documents meet CDM regs
• Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
• Covering sites in the midlands down towards the M1 / M40 corridor with occasional sites being nationwide

Skills / experience needed to be an air conditioning contracts engineer:-

• You need experience working in HVAC and mostly air conditioning within a contract or projects position
• SMSTS cert as well as a skills card to project manager level
• Full UK driving licence needed as well as good paperwork and IT skills
• Living anywhere in or around the West Midlands across and down towards the M1 / M40 corridor

Salary and Benefits of an air conditioning contracts engineer:-

• 35-40k basic
• Car (with private use), phone, fuel card
• Annual company performance bonus (3% of salary)
• 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (this increases over length of service)
